Tradition of religion pilgrimage of laity. Processions and pilgrimages in the 17th century in South Bohemia based on vicarial statements.

The work deals with the traditions of pilgrimage related to the South Bohemian region at the turn of 17th and 18th centuries. Its main content is the probe into the answers to the 26th question of vicarial statements (the question concerns pilgrimages and processions). The discovered traditions are treated in relation to the liturgical year and religious life of the Roman Catholic Church in general. In the conclusion of the work there is outlined a wider context of pilgrimage in the very region including supraregional tendencies.
From glory to oblivion? Changes of the site of pilgrimage Křemešník in the 20th century

The submitted work aims to clerify changes of the image of the site of pilgrimage called Křemešník in social memory during the dynamic 20th century. Author leans on her bachelor's thesis, which was focused on Křemešník in the first thirty years of the 20th century. Now she tried to describe rivalry of ecclesiastic and touristic segment in the first half of the 20th century, replaced by establishment of the communist dictatorship. The reports of the church secretaries helped to find out the attitude of ruling power to Křemešník, means of changing or deleting the memory of the site and the success rate of this effort. Attention was also paid to perception of Křemešník by ordinary people, compared with contemporary state using a questionnaire. Extant written sources were supplemented with memories of contemporary witnesses.

Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Stará Boleslava This diploma thesis deal the pilgrimage church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Stará Boleslav. The first part will mainly dedicate the church, which according to the literature replace today's baroque church, but by the Archaeological Survey apparently found another place. Followed by a description of the course of construction, its architectural analysis and a brief mention of zhe buildings that inspired the church. The biggest part will be devoted to interior decoration of the church and a detailed description of each part of the decoration. Next chapter closer to building cloisters, their paintings and other aquipment. Final chapter is devoted Palladium of Czech land, legends associated with him, its history and pilgramages, which took place in Stará Boleslav. Site of pilgrimage Křemešník. Changes of the realm of memory in 1918-1948

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to clerify changes of the site of pilgrimage called Křemešník in social memory during the first thirty years of the 20th century. At first, the study captures ecclesiastic history in Bohemia and in the Pelhřimov district as well as older history of Křemešník. Next, commemorative books written by local priests are analysed to document the main events of the observed period. Emphasis is also put on everyday life and on the personalities of the priests and their relations to the site of pilgrimage. Next part is dedicated to the pilgrimages, because the memory of the site was created especially by them. Attention is also paid to legends and miracles, which are connected with the spring on Křemešník. Popularity of the site is backed up by the following chapters, which deal with marriages and christenings in the pilgrimage church and with old publications about Křemešník. The bachelor thesis is summarized in the conclusion, which also provides additional options for further research.

Life under the shelter of God. Wayside shrines in the 19th century - customs and manifestation of the folk devoutness of that time. The Bachelor thesis focuses on the acts of folk devoutness on the basis of spiritual theology in connection with tangible heritage ? the columns of the crucifixion and some preserved archival material. The text is divided into seven basic chapters. The first chapter deals with the general introduction to the problem, the second chapter briefly outlines the methodology, the third chapter defines the geographical area. The fourth chapter explains the situation of the Catholic Church in the 19th century. The fifth chapter looks into the concept of devoutness in general, the sixth chapter continues with the topic explaining the folk devoutness and concentrates on the spiritualness of the young shortly. The following chapters discuss the pilgrimages in the 18th and 19th century. The seventh chapter supports the links between the tangible heritage and the folk devoutness.
The pilgrimages to Medjugorje and their influence on deepening laymen´s religious lifes

This thesis describes the influence of pilgrimages on deeping of believers´s religious life. It approaches spiritual life in the pilgrimage site in Medjugorja. It evaluates the effects of the spiritual aspiration and it shows evidence of conversion. It refers to the consequence of the Marian message and it specifies the resources for acquisition of the mercy of God. Thesis extracts information from the available literature and also from author´s own personal experiences. In the final result it brings the recognition of the love and the mercy of Father God. It is appointed to everybody who wants to find the right meaning of its own life.
